Spanish police dismantled one of the largest people-smuggling networks ever uncovered in the Mediterranean, accusing the group of transporting more than 2,000 migrants into Spain. Authorities said the organization carried out at least 64 smuggling operations, arrested 78 suspects and seized 18 high-speed boats used to ferry migrants from Algeria to Spain.
