Peacock and ITV America confirm to ET, James Barker, an executive producer on ‘Love Island USA,’ died while in production on season 8 in Fiji. While his cause of death is not yet public, the network tells ET it was the result of ‘an unexpected medical emergency.’ Credited with shaping the series iconic soundtrack, Barker toured as a DJ when not working on TV; he even met his partner, Adam Roth, at one of his shows.
