A former senior Metropolitan Police officer has described footage showing a man being kicked in the head and stamped on at Manchester Airport as "shocking".
Speaking to Sky News, former chief superintendent Dal Babu said he believed the level of force used against the man by police was "totally disproportionate" and "not reasonable".
Greater Manchester Police had been responding to reports of an assault at Terminal 2 at 8.25pm on Tuesday before the incident took place. An officer has now been suspended.
