Trump HUMILIATED In Midterm Bloodbath! Democrats Warn “LAWYER UP”
Donald Trump spent the closing days of the midterms telling voters to imagine that he was personally on the ballot. Republicans then suffered a historic wipeout: Democrats won control of both the House and Senate, flipped at least seven Republican-held Senate seats and captured more than two dozen House districts.
Trump reacted during a late-night Fox News interview as the scale of the loss became clear. He called the election “just a point in time,” blamed the normal midterm disadvantage and insisted the result wasn’t a personal rejection. Trump accepted the result and congratulated Democrats—but also claimed Republicans would have won in a landslide had he actually been on the ballot.
The incoming Democratic Congress will gain subpoena power, larger investigative staffs and the ability to pursue Trump administration officials, family business dealings, the Epstein investigation and allegations of corporate influence. Robert Garcia’s warning was simply: “Lawyer up.” Ron Wyden added one word of his own: “Subpoenas.”
Impeachment is now possible, but it has not begun. There is no new impeachment inquiry, newly introduced set of articles or vote. Democrats can investigate and potentially impeach Trump or members of his Cabinet, while removal would still require a two-thirds Senate vote.
Trump has also said he would consider pre-emptively pardoning administration officials and allies if Democrats pursued them. Separate reporting says figures around Trumpworld have already sought protection. That doesn’t mean any specific new pardon has been approved or granted.
We break down Trump’s live reaction, the Republican collapse and why Washington is already preparing for two years of subpoenas, vetoes, pardon fights and open political warfare.
