An Egyptian national, 47-year-old Mohamed Sabry Soliman, pleaded guilty in federal court to committing a hate crime resulting in death, along with eight other hate crime charges and three explosives charges. Federal prosecutors in Denver confirmed that Soliman targeted his victims based on their actual or perceived Jewish religion and Israeli national origin.
