Trump’s Greenville rally descended into chaos as five separate protesters interrupted his speech and were removed from Pitt-Greenville Airport. The crowd repeatedly erupted into USA chants, while one ejection turned into a scuffle caught live by CNN cameras. Trump called the hecklers “losers,” branded one a “nut job” and claimed “radical left lunatics” were paying them $250. He even brought back his notorious old line about letting the crowd “beat the hell out of them”—before immediately adding, “I don’t say that anymore” and telling supporters not to hurt the protester.
This is at least the third disrupted Trump rally in nine days after protesters also interrupted events in Youngstown and Kansas. Is this spontaneous heckling following the campaign from city to city, or is somebody deliberately trying to hijack every rally for a viral moment? Trump says the protesters are paid, but no reporting has identified a common organizer or produced evidence of payment. What is confirmed is that five disruptions repeatedly stopped the Greenville speech, one removal became physical and Trump turned every interruption into part of the show.
