Dolly Parton’s sister Freida Parton, 69, looked back at the "highs and lows" with the singer after her Aug. 25 passing at the age of 80 after a brief battle with cancer. In an Aug. 30 Facebook tribute, Freida remembered the country music icon as her “Dolly Momma,” sharing that Parton comforted her when they were children, later raised her from ages 13 to 18 and even encouraged her to wear one of her famous wigs onstage. While noting that the sisters had their share of “arguments and disagreements,” Freida wrote, “Even through all the highs and lows, and all the laughter and tears, I never stopped loving her.” Parton was laid to rest alongside her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, at Nashville’s Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum on Aug. 28, with Freida asking fans to keep their family in their prayers as they mourned the “insurmountable loss.” Full Story: https://www.eonline.com/videos/2512656451747/dolly-partons-sister-frieda-details-familys-insurmountable-loss-after-her-death
