A Boston police officer had football fans laughing before Scotland’s World Cup clash against Haiti on June 13, as he attempted to play the bagpipes.
Footage captured outside Gillette Stadium shows an officer giving the traditional Scottish instrument a go as supporters gathered ahead of the match.
The recorder, Demi Hornsey, told Storyful the officer’s impromptu performance proved a hit with fans. “It was a hilarious moment, everyone was in great spirits,” Hornsey said.
Scotland went on to defeat Haiti 1-0 in the World Cup group-stage fixture.
