Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is heading to Berlin for talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. It’s the last stop on Zelenskyy’s lightning tour of Europe.
Earlier today, Zelenskyy was at the Vatican for a meeting with Pope Francis. He also held talks with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Rome. His tour earlier included stops in France and Britain. Zelenskyy presented his counterparts with what he’s calling his âVictory Planâ â a roadmap to ending the war on Ukraineâs terms.
Today, he will make his case to Germany’s leaders. DWâs Nick Connolly takes a look at what we know about Zelenskyyâs plan â and its chances of success.
And for more, weâre joined by Michaela KĂŒfner, who is following Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit in Berlin, and DW correspondent Nick Connolly in Kyiv.
