President Donald Trump said Saturday that the United States will significantly reduce its troop presence in Germany, indicating the cuts will go beyond the Pentagon’s previously announced withdrawal of about 5,000 troops. Utica Police were alerted on April 29 to a stolen military-style vehicle taken from near the Alexander Pirnie Federal Building. Officers located it on West Street, but the driver fled, nearly striking police and leading them on a reckless chase through city streets. The vehicle crashed multiple times; hitting a pole, hydrant, building, and tree. After the final crash, police forced the driver out and arrested him.
