General Motors raised its 2026 guidance after significantly beating Wall Street’s first-quarter earnings expectations following a roughly $500 million benefit from the U.S. Supreme Court decision to terminate and refund certain levies paid under President Donald Trump’s tariffs.
An assassination attempt during the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner has sprung a chorus of criticism over the security at the venue – which even the alleged gunman mocked in a manifesto he sent to his family before he tried to crash through security. Struyven and his team upgraded Brent to $90/barrel by the fourth quarter, citing lower Persian Gulf production, and ongoing Strait of Hormuz disruption.
