US forces killed a suspected drug trafficker during a strike in international waters, but the attack looked different from recent operations. Instead of using an expensive missile, the vessel appears to have been destroyed with heavy cannon fire — possibly from an AC-130 gunship — signaling a shift in tactics. Previously, suspected drug-running boats were often targeted by MQ-9 Reaper drones firing Hellfire missiles that can cost around $150,000 each. #drone #cartel #drugtrafficker The New York Post is your source for breaking news, news about New York, sports, business, entertainment, opinion, real estate, culture, fashion, and more. Russia fired more than 650 drones and three dozen missiles at Ukraine in a large-scale attack that began during the night and stretched into daylight hours Tuesday, officials said. At least three people were killed, including a 4-year-old child, two days before Christmas. The barrage struck homes and the power grid in 13 regions of Ukraine, causing widespread outages in bitter temperatures, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, a day after he described recent progress on finding a peace deal as “quite solid.” The bombardment demonstrated Russian President Vladimir Putin’s intention of pursuing the invasion of Ukraine, Zelenskyy said in a…

Five people – including two firefighters – were hurt when a massive blaze ripped through a Brooklyn home early Monday, officials said. The flames erupted around 2 a.m. inside the three-story wood-frame home on Humboldt Street near Richardson Street in Williamsburg – and firefighters were on scene in just over three minutes, according to the FDNY. “That means from the time that somebody called 911, in 3 minutes and 22 seconds, we had a fire apparatus in front of that building,” FDNY Chief of Fire Operations Kevin Woods told reporters, adding that six hose lines were stretched into the building.…

Infamous O.J. Simpson Houseguest, Kato Kaelin, Surfaces Outside Rob Reiner Murder Scene
In a surreal collision of Hollywood’s most infamous true-crime eras, Kato Kaelin was spotted outside the Brentwood estate where legendary director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found brutally murdered last week. Kaelin, who became a household name as the shaggy-haired houseguest during the 1995 O.J. Simpson trial, was seen standing in front of the Reiner’s gate Monday — near the same tree-lined streets that once served as the backdrop for the trial of the century. #robreiner #brentwood #katokaelin Read more at https://nypost.com/2025/12/22/us-news/o-j-simpsons-pal-kato-kaelin-seen-at-rob-reiner-murder-scene/?utm_campaign=iphone_nyp&utm_source=Slack The New York Post is your source for breaking news, news about New York,…
Gov. Kathy Hochul embarked on a flurry of end-of-year bill signings and vetoes — with charitable organizations and creepy-crawly horseshoe crabs emerging as some of the wacky winners. With the legislative spree largely done by Monday, the governor ultimately acted on a whopping 853 pieces of legislation in 2025. “We had a lot of tough bills to consider. We got to the right place,” Hochul said in Albany, while signing a partial ban on the drug kratom. Authorities in Walworth County, Wisconsin, captured a raccoon that fell through the ceiling of a restaurant at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva and bit a diner who tried to catch it. Bodycam footage released by the sheriff’s office shows officers containing the animal with a catchpole and trash can before a wildlife wrangler arrived nearly an hour later to secure it in a cage and remove it from the building. According to WISN, the raccoon was later euthanized and tested for rabies. #wisconsin #raccoon #restaurant The New York Post is your source for breaking news, news about New…
Daniel Goffart, Journalist, WirtschaftsWoche He’s driven by his opinion that you need leadership in Europe. If you have 27 different countries and you go to the summit without any idea, without any concrete proposal, you will not reach anything. So, his idea was to make a proposal that one can follow, and he hopes that they did, and it was 50-50. But, at the end, the problem in my eyes is not that the Chancellor made a proposal. The problem is that the European countries were not willing to show solidarity. That’s the main problem, in my eyes. And what…
