The FBI released video and images it says show four suspects setting up a desert campsite and handling bomb-making materials as part of a foiled New Year’s Eve bombing plot in the Los Angeles area. Prosecutors say the group planned to plant explosive devices at multiple locations and later discussed targeting US immigration agents before agents intervened and made arrests. Providence police released new images of a “person of interest” tied to the Brown University mass shooting Monday evening as officials attempted to calm growing anxiety that the gunman is still on the loose. The series of new videos is the most revealing images of the man police are pursuing, showing him dressed in dark clothing with a black face mask hiding most of his mug.
