Implement caps on data retention limits so data is only held for days instead of months. And mandate automated system audits that flag unusual search patterns and instantly lock out users who abuse the cameras. If these solutions aren’t in place, we leave open the door for the one thing everyone is worried about: Whoever holds power without accountability will eventually abuse it.
