The U.S. Justice Department has opened a criminal investigation into Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. Both Frey and Walz referred to the probe as an intimidation tactic brought on by the Trump administration. The DOJ alleges the Minnesota officials have a conspiracy to impede immigration agents.
