Footage shows the wife of an Ecuadorian man screaming and crying after federal agents detained him while at the Jacob K. Javits building, before a federal officer is seen telling her "adios" and shoving her to the floor – in an incident that sparked outcry. The Department of Homeland Security announced that the officer involved is being relieved of his current duties pending an investigation. "The officer’s conduct in this video is unacceptable and beneath the men and women of ICE," DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement on Friday.
