This Healthcare Concept Analysis is Broad and Basic to keep the idea easy to explain. In 2026, the Government collected $58 billion from FICA taxes. Imagine there is one doctor for every 300 potential patients. (In America, that could be 1 per 400, but this explanation is for an example of a concept.) Let us assume the Doctor wants to earn $200,000 per year, and none of his potential patients can afford that salary. If the doctor charged $50 and every patient had one visit per year, the doctor would only earn $15,000.
So, our American solution is to provide each patient with insurance that will compensate the doctor for his services, enabling him to make $200,000 each year. Insurance companies profit from this concept by selling insurance to 300 people for the service of one person. Each potential patient buys medical insurance each year. The 300 people, some with employer support, spend an average of $2,700,000 each year on insurance. If you want more, don’t tax the healthcare professionals whose numbers are decreasing each year. Can you see the concept? Paying the doctor $200,000 is a much cheaper solution. We can afford to pay the doctor $175,000 – $200,000; let him charge whatever he wants per patient (capitalism), and still save money. Actually, we could afford to subsidize the nurses, technicians, and staff the same way. Even hospitals could receive a stipend of $20 million each year, and we would cover every citizen and still save billions of dollars each year.
