City Journal and the Manhattan Institute scored 100 prominent schools on leadership quality, free speech, meritocracy, and resistance to politicization. UF leads. Texas and Florida publics fill the top ranks. Harvard sits around 37. The gap is the point.
Freedom Index ranks the schools that protect speech and cut DEI bureaucracy. UF dismantled its DEI offices, dropped diversity statements from hiring, and opened the Hamilton School of Classical and Civic Education. Texas A&M, UT Austin, UNC Chapel Hill, and Notre Dame follow.
