Brenna Swindell, the 29-year-old daughter of former MLB pitcher Greg Swindell, was found safe in Klamath Falls, Oregon, after being reported missing for five days. Brenna was found in the company of her ex-boyfriend, Morgan Guidry, who was arrested on an outstanding warrant for domestic assault in Travis County, Texas. The search for Brenna began after she was last seen with her ex-boyfriend, Morgan Guidry, on Thursday, August 22, at Poodies Hilltop Bar in Spicewood, Texas, located about 45 minutes west of Austin. Both Swindell and Guidry had not been in contact with their families, and their phones were turned off, raising concerns about their safety. The Austin Police Department (APD) had expressed serious concerns for Brenna’s safety, stating she had not been in her usual contact with family and friends.

The case took a more serious turn as the Travis County Sheriff’s Office joined the investigation on Monday, highlighting the urgency and concern for Brenna’s immediate welfare. Greg Swindell, a former MLB player who pitched for the Houston Astros from 1993 to 1996, retired in 2002 after a 17-year career in baseball. Swindell is a University of Texas at Austin alumnus and attended Sharpstown High School in Houston.
