Satellite imagery released on June 10 revealed recent renovation work at Washington’s Reflecting Pool, a key part of a broader overhaul of the U.S. capital. Images showed the pool drained in April while crews carried out resealing and repainting work before it was refilled this week. The pool’s base was repainted in what President Donald Trump has called “American flag blue.” The landmark sits beside the Lincoln Memorial, the site of Martin Luther King Jr.’s historic “I Have a Dream” speech in 1963.
