Workers are continuing restoration efforts at the Reflecting Pool near the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., with the pool beginning to be refilled on June 5. The project is part of preparations for the United States’ 250th anniversary celebrations this summer and was ordered by President Donald Trump as part of broader efforts to enhance national landmarks ahead of the milestone event.
