On Tuesday, May 5th, pro-Palestine and pro-Israel protesters faced off outside the Park East Synagogue in Manhattan where an Israeli real estate event was being held. The two sides were separated by the NYPD. A few demonstrators were pepper sprayed and one police officer was taken to the hospital for a leg injury.
