President Trump shrugged off Iran’s naming a new leader, saying "nobody has any idea" who may ultimately end up in charge. Iran named Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the former Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as its supreme leader but Trump has said he wants input on who will lead the country.
"We had leaders and they’re gone," Trump told Republican lawmakers who were meeting as his Doral golf course. "Now nobody has any idea who the people are that are going to be the head of the country."
