As Lebanese society is plunged into war once again, the country’s artists reflect upon the feeling of déjà vu and the mental exhaustion that this conflict has prompted among many people. Olivia Salazar-Winspear has been speaking to filmmaker Wissam Charaf, in Beirut, and musician Zeid Hamdan in Paris. Zeid explains why Lebanese communities must unite to face an uncertain future, and how members of the diaspora are trying to help from afar.
