Iran does not care what anyone thinks. They will continue to support their terror groups that kill Jews whenever they want. But that doesn’t stop the supposed moves for peace. A peace that I contend will never happen until Trump gets into office, and once again prevents Iran from getting billions of dollars that they use for their terror groups.
In a dramatic and urgent maneuver, President Joe Biden, alongside the leaders of Egypt and Qatar, has thrown down the gauntlet, urging Israel and Hamas to abandon the battleground and return to the negotiation table. This comes as the war in Gaza, a conflict that has spiraled into its tenth devastating month, has reached a boiling point, with over 39,000 lives lost and a humanitarian disaster unfolding in its wake.
The timing of this diplomatic plea is no coincidence. The region teeters on the edge of a broader conflict, especially after the recent high-profile assassinations of Hamas and Hezbollah figures—one audaciously executed within the borders of Iran itself. Israel, now on high alert, is steeling itself for the retaliatory storm promised by Iran, raising the stakes to feverish heights.

Biden and his counterparts in Cairo and Doha are not mincing words. They’ve made it abundantly clear that the time to act is now. With the world watching and tensions boiling over, they have proposed an urgent summit on August 15 in either Doha or Cairo. The goal? To hammer out a ceasefire and secure the release of hostages—an objective as critical as it is fraught with obstacles.
But this isn’t just another diplomatic gesture. The leaders are prepared to offer a “final bridging proposal,” a last-ditch, make-or-break effort to resolve the impasse that has kept peace at bay. This unified front from three influential global players underscores the gravity of the situation and the desperate need for resolution before the region plunges into further chaos.
This rare display of international unity follows intense behind-the-scenes discussions earlier in the week. A senior U.S. official underscored the significance of this joint statement, emphasizing that the stakes could not be higher. The message is clear: there is no more time for stalling—every moment wasted brings the region closer to the brink.
BREAKING: Biden, Egypt, and Qatar issued a joint statement on Israel and Hamas to finalize a Gaza ceasefire: “We called on both parties to resume urgent talks on Thursday, August 15, in Cairo to bridge all remaining gaps and start implementing the agreement without delay.” pic.twitter.com/XHVMbC8Gwn

In a significant move, Israel has agreed to dispatch a team to the proposed talks, signaling a tentative willingness to engage in dialogue. Hamas, however, has remained conspicuously silent, leaving the world in suspense. Yet, despite this silence, U.S. officials are cautiously optimistic. They believe the foundations for a ceasefire are already in place—what remains are the final, treacherous steps to bridge the remaining gaps.
The proposed “final bridging proposal” is expected to tackle the most sensitive issues, including the sequencing of the hostage exchange and other complex sticking points that have so far eluded resolution. This bold statement from the mediators is seen as a crucial lever to nudge both parties towards an agreement.
However, the journey ahead is anything but straightforward. The talks on August 15 are just the beginning, a stepping stone towards what could be a long and arduous road to peace. While the framework for a deal exists, the remaining challenges are formidable and will require an extraordinary level of political will to overcome.
Please! Give them the wisdom and courage to shake hands on August 15th. 🙏🙏
