A rapist who let an innocent man serve nearly two decades in prison for his crime has been sentenced to 24 years in jail at Manchester Crown Court. Paul Quinn, 52, was found guilty in April this year of raping a woman in 2003 after advances in testing meant that a billion-to-one match of his DNA profile was made with saliva left on the victim’s vest top.
