A driver plowed into people in the center of the German city of Leipzig on Monday, leaving two people dead, authorities said. An American influencer trapped onboard the luxury MV Hondius cruise ship near West Africa amid a suspected hantavirus outbreak broke down sobbing over “very real” fears after three passengers died and others were seriously sick with symptoms. Three people died and more than a dozen were injured after a massive fire tore through a six-floor walk-up in Manhattan early Monday, officials said. Nearly 200 first responders rushed to the apartment building on Dyckman Street in Inwood at about 12:30 a.m. to find multiple terrified residents trying to flee via the fire escape. “This fire was a very serious fire.
