Britain’s interior minister called the fatal stabbing of Southampton student Henry Nowak an “evil act,” as a watchdog investigates police conduct in the case. Nowak died after being stabbed in December 2025, and his killer, Vickrum Digwa, a 23-year-old man who falsely claimed he had been the victim of an assault, was sentenced to life in prison. Bodycam footage reportedly shows Nowak telling officers he had been stabbed and could not breathe while an officer initially downplayed his condition before emergency care was provided. Seattle’s new public restroom partnership is already off to a rough start, as one Seattleite recently captured a video of a restroom pod, vandalized under three weeks since instalation. The City of Seattle launched their partnership with Throne Bathrooms on May 12th- committing to a one year pilot program to see how well these bathrooms hold up in “real-life situations”, according to the Seattle’s Department of Transportation.
