A massive swarm of young street racers took over an Atlanta intersection in the middle of the night Sunday, where they did donuts, drifted and raced one another in the wild melee, dramatic footage shows. A gunman shot his 20-year-old girlfriend in the neck outside a Staten Island Target store early Friday – and then escaped on a motorcycle, cops and sources said. The 20-year-old victim was shot around 7:30 a.m. in front of the retailer on Richmond Avenue, part of a larger shopping complex in New Springville, police said. This is the moment a nine-meter humpback whale was rescued after becoming stranded on a beach in Australia. The 10-tonne marine giant was freed and guided back into the ocean off Forster on April 14, after becoming trapped in shallow waters in a desperate and complex rescue operation.
