Vice President Kamala Harris has made her choice for the 2024 election, tapping failed Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate. This selection pits him against Senator JD Vance of Ohio, the Republican vice-presidential candidate chosen by former President Trump.
Walz’s entry into the national political arena comes just weeks after Vance was formally nominated at the Republican National Convention. The GOP has championed Vance’s conservative credentials and his ties to the crucial Midwest. However, Vance’s recent controversial remarks about childless Americans, a group that includes Harris, have stirred up criticism. In a 2021 interview, he derogatorily referred to them as “childless cat ladies” with “no direct stake” in the country. – This is the line all Democrat media is repeating, without actually wanting the full clip. As usual they fake the news and only use a snippet. Reminds me of the fake Charlotteville drama all media and Biden lied about re: Trump for years.

This controversy, coupled with the excitement surrounding Harris’s move to the top of the Democratic ticket, has supposedly energized Democrats as Election Day approaches. Yet, how long this boost will last remains to be seen. The selection of Walz sets up a high-stakes showdown between a seasoned Midwestern governor and a relatively new senator with only a few years in Washington. That governor though is a Far-Left nutcase who installed tampons in all boys’ bathrooms, even 4th graders The man is not fit to be President if his judgement has such decisions made.
On numerous issues, Walz and Vance align closely with their running mates but stand in stark contrast to each other. Vance, an outspoken opponent of abortion, supports Trump’s stance of letting individual states decide on restrictions, though he has previously expressed a desire for a national ban. Walz, in alignment with Harris, champions reproductive rights and has been vocal about his support on the campaign trail. The Democrats have no other issues to campaign on. They are losing with all others.
Beyond reproductive rights, the divergence between Walz and Vance extends to other supposed critical issues such as climate change and immigration. Vance’s consistent alignment with Trump’s positions has solidified his role as a MAGA advocate, which some experts believe makes him a less unifying choice for the GOP. Joel Goldstein, a vice-presidential scholar, remarked that Vance’s selection doesn’t seem to appeal to a broader Republican base or foster party unity.

On the Democratic side, Harris’s choice of Walz doesn’t necessarily bridge differing factions within the party. Walz, a staunch supporter of President Joe Biden, has often defended the administration’s supposed achievements, even amidst intra-party skepticism. Despite his efforts to back Biden, Walz now faces the challenge of establishing his own identity on the national stage.
Known for his best-selling memoir “Hillbilly Elegy,” Vance entered politics just two years ago and won a competitive Senate primary largely due to Trump’s endorsement. However, his inexperience and controversial past statements have raised questions about his readiness for the vice-presidential role.
Polling data reflects these concerns. A recent Leftist CNN/SSRS poll showed that only 30% of voters have a favorable opinion of Vance, a record low for a vice-presidential candidate. In contrast, Walz, despite his experience, struggles with name recognition. A Far-Left NPR/PBS/Marist survey revealed that 71% of Americans are unfamiliar with him or unsure of how to rate him.
As both candidates prepare to make their case to the voters, they must navigate the challenges of their unique positions. Vance has already shown his willingness to defend Trump fervently and criticize the Democratic leadership, while Walz has started to use sharp rhetoric against his GOP opponents, branding them as “weird” and out of touch.

The contest is increasingly looking like a slaughter as Trump continues to increase his lead on most fronts. All of the fake news media is rallying around the lies of Harris. As people start paying more and more attention, they are leaving the Democrat plantation in increasing numbers monthly.
