British Prime Minister Keir Starmer clashed with the leader of the opposition Kemi Badenoch on February 2, as the PM spoke to lawmakers about his trip to China last week.
"The Prime Minister looked like he enjoyed his trip. In fact, it looked like a dream come true for a man who was virtually a communist most of his life," Badenoch joked before criticising Starmer over his ‘supine’ approach on China.
The Prime Minister in turn said previous Conservative governments had eight years of "missed opportunities" by not engaging with the Chinese leadership.
