Shocking footage captured the moment a wheel detached from a British Airways aircraft during takeoff at Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport. The incident, caught on a live airport stream shows Flight BA274 bound for London, lifting off just as one of its tires drops from the plane mid-ascent.
Despite the dramatic malfunction, the aircraft continued its journey and landed safely at London’s Heathrow Airport more than nine hours later. The Federal Aviation Administration has confirmed it is investigating the incident.
