An officer with the Department of Homeland Security was forced to use his gun as protection when a violent criminal from El Salvador rammed his vehicle into law enforcement officials in order to evade arrest. William Eduardo Moran Carballo, who is in the US illegally, was targeted for his involvement in a human-smuggling operation and has two prior arrests for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, according to ABC7.
