A camera operator reporting from protests outside the Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis was struck in the leg by a police-fired flash-bang grenade on January 11.
Video shared by Status Coup captures the moment police rush protesters while firing non-lethal rounds. Several flash-bang grenades can be seen going off nearby, and the outlet’s camera operator, Jon Farina, can be heard saying, “I got hit with something—my leg is hurting.”
