Terrifying security footage captures the moment a speeding car went airborne, smashed through a concrete wall, flipped onto its roof, and ejected the driver into a swimming pool in Laughlin, Nevada, on December 15. Homeowner Cletis Frank Reed told Storyful he heard what sounded like “a freight train” before rushing outside to find his backyard destroyed and the driver floating in his pool. Authorities say the driver was allegedly speeding and failed to stop before crashing through the boundary wall. The vehicle was removed hours later, and Reed estimates repairs could cost nearly $300,000, depending on whether the pool must be drained.
