Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano erupted for the 39th time this year, solidifying its status as one of the world’s most active volcanoes. The eruption coincided with the one-year anniversary of its continuous on-off eruptions. The U.S. Geological Survey’s webcams captured over 1,400 feet of lava erupting from both the north and south vents.
