58-year-old Homero Saenz was arrested on multiple felony charges after attempting to shoplift from a Walmart, which escalated into a violent encounter with a deputy. Saenz allegedly ignored security and a responding Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputy before physically resisting arrest. Deputies later recovered $237.39 in stolen merchandise from a shopping cart and from a girdle Saenz was wearing under his shirt.
