Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) turned a “minor miscommunication” into a profane “spectacle” in October, when she repeatedly cussed at cops for belatedly escorting her through a South Carolina airport, a Charleston Airport Police Department internal investigation found. Mace, 47, had expected airport police to walk with her from the curb of Charleston International Airport to her gate on the morning of Oct. 30 — but flew into a tantrum when a supervisor who misidentified her car delayed her from boarding, according the 10-page report on the probe. Despite the delay, the South Carolina congresswoman was held up for no more than six minutes at a TSA checkpoint, during which time she tore into supervisory transportation security officer.
