Reports that Ukraine has agreed to a US-backed peace deal with Russia have emerged. That’s according to an anonymous US official who says only minor details are still to be agreed on. A US delegation has been talking with Russian officials in Abu Dhabi after Ukraine and its European allies came up with an alternative to Washington’s controversial 28-point proposal.
