A tense confrontation broke out in a Toronto parking lot, after police arrested a woman caught wielding two large knives and damaging several vehicles. “After deploying a taser, a struggle ensued as they attempted to take the suspect into custody,” Toronto Police Association’s vice president Brian Callanan said. Police confirmed that no officers were seriously injured and that the woman, was taken to hospital for assessment related to the taser deployment.
