The man wants to be the VP contender, but it is not looking good as of now. Kamala is set to name her VP on Tuesday.
In a recent twist of political intrigue, Democratic Senator Mark Kelly from Arizona has opted to stay grounded in his home state, even as rumors whirl like desert dust around Kamala Harris’s impending selection of a running mate. With the vice-presidential hopeful poised to embark on a whirlwind tour of key swing states, kicking off in the historic city of Philadelphia, Kelly remains enigmatic about his potential role in the campaign’s frenetic pace. “I’m not going to get into any of that,” he declared, sidestepping the question of whether he’ll join Harris on her tour. Instead, Kelly emphasized his unwavering commitment to ensuring Harris’s ascension to the presidency, pledging to crisscross the nation with a focus on rallying support, starting with Arizona next week.
From astronaut 👨🚀 to the Navy combat pilot ✈️ to senator 🗳️ to… Vice President?
Arizona’s Mark Kelly could be the best pick for Harris’ running mate, says @Erika_D_Smith.

This revelation comes hot on the heels of Kelly’s debut on cable news following President Biden’s supposedly unexpected exit from the race. As Harris hones in on her vice-presidential pick, Kelly finds himself amidst a shortlist that also includes Pennsylvania’s pragmatic Governor Josh Shapiro and Minnesota’s seasoned Governor Tim Walz. The former astronaut, known for his measured approach and reluctance to dive into the mudslinging arena, nonetheless garners attention for his adept handling of immigration and border issues—topics that have been particularly thorny for Harris since her assignment to tackle the root causes of migration from Central America. In MAGA world, we call him Deep State.
In a recent rally in Atlanta, Harris didn’t mince words, firing back at Trump’s “border czar” criticisms. She released a digital broadside, laying the blame for the demise of a bipartisan border bill squarely at the feet of the former president. As if anyone will believe anything this woman says, knowing that her tenure as the border czar has been a total failure. Kelly, chiming in from Arizona, staunchly defended Harris’s diplomatic initiatives in Central America, highlighting the fruits of her labor in countries like Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala. These efforts, Kelly asserted, are beginning to yield tangible benefits, showcasing Harris’s competence in foreign affairs. These Democrats seem to think that helping millions more invade the United States so they can get the extra votes, is somehow a good thing. Only in the corrupt minds of the now Marxist controlled Democrat Party and Media is this a good thing. The people of America are not falling for it in any way. Democrats and Republicans.
I’ve been on a lot of missions, but never once did I do it alone. I always had a really good team behind me, and that’s what @KamalaHarris, @RubenGallego, and Democrats are going to need to win in November. So get out and vote today, Arizona! Let’s build a team to win. pic.twitter.com/ABiJQbKh4U

Kelly also took aim at Republican Senator JD Vance, Trump’s chosen running mate, accusing him of leveraging border issues for political theatrics, labeling his recent border visit a mere “photo op.” Kelly didn’t hold back, lambasting the GOP for their part in the collapse of the bipartisan border legislation earlier this year—a bill Kelly argued was practically gift-wrapped and ready for passage until Trump’s abrupt opposition. “We had an agreement, we had the votes, and Donald Trump wakes up one morning and decides he doesn’t want this problem solved,” Kelly lamented. He further criticized Senate Republicans, including Vance, for not just walking away but “running away” from the issue. Knowing that that bill was designed to codify illegal immigration and legally destroy our freedom, is there any wonder why Trump said hell no?
On Capitol Hill, Kelly’s critiques sharpened, especially towards Vance’s supposed incendiary remarks that had painted the Democratic Party leadership with a broad, dismissive brush. Vance’s comments, which disparaged leaders like Harris as “childless cat ladies,” were met with scorn from Kelly, who deemed them “obnoxious” and indicative of a broader, troubling mindset. He underscored Vance’s inconsistent stance on family values and voting rights, pointing to his opposition to a bipartisan tax package that included an expansion of the child tax credit as a glaring example. Again, Kelly and the Democrats made up the whole controversy as anyone who actually sees the vid clip knows that Vance did not say what they are saying. But Democrats and their Marxist media are masters of media manipulation.
“I would say Mark Kelly, with no hesitation at all.”
Tonight on @kgun9, Arizona Democrats in Tucson and Yuma tell me they believe Senator Kelly would be a great VP pick for Kamala Harris.

Key Points:
- Senator Mark Kelly remains in Arizona, focusing on supporting Kamala Harris’s campaign amidst speculation about her vice-presidential pick.
- Kelly emphasizes addressing root causes of migration in Central America, advocating for long-term solutions over reactionary measures.
- He critiques Republican Senator JD Vance for superficial political gestures and controversial remarks, promoting a more inclusive leadership approach.
- Kelly advocates for comprehensive, humane immigration reform, stressing the importance of sustainable and just policies. Which means let everyone in so America falls, is forced into bankruptcy so the Democrats can attempt their Great Marxist Reset.
- Positioned as a unifying figure, Kelly’s background and policy stances could play a crucial role in the upcoming political landscape, offering a pragmatic and inclusive vision for the future.
