From the Biblical accounts, we know that Paul made three missionary journeys and finally, during his imprisonment, one trip to Rome. There are non-biblical accounts of Paul going on additional journeys. What we know is, Paul was busy.
All throughout his time abroad, he wrote, probably with someone helping him as he aged. He wrote Galatians right after the Jerusalem council, Thessalonians during his second missionary journey, Corinthians and Romans during his third, then, during his imprisonment, he wrote Luke and Acts.
Luke and Acts were the attending documents that went with Paul to his trial. So, Emperor Nero would have known the contents of Luke and Acts before Paul stood trial.
Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, Philemon, are also written while he is in prison. Then, after he is released, his final documents are Timothy and Titus.
