On August 9, pro-Palestinian demonstrations took place across Madrid. Some protesters took to boats on Retiro Park’s lake, waving flags and chanting, while others expressed their outrage by banging pots and pans.
These protests come amid growing global condemnation of Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza, which has claimed over 61,300 lives since October 2023 and pushed the region toward severe starvation.
