Origins Explained just dropped a nearly two-hour marathon, “They Found Lost Worlds That Shouldn’t EXIST.” (Vid us below) Host Katrina walks through ruins, tablets, and formations that leave the standard story of civilization looking incomplete. The same questions keep surfacing on X: how did people move and shape stones we still struggle with, and why do flood stories and pre-agricultural monuments keep appearing?
Here are the mysteries and civilizations the marathon and related Origins Explained episodes keep circling: Continued below the vid
- Greek Temple of Necromancy: An underground site where visitors took narcotics and used theatrical effects to speak with the dead. The “revelation of the dead” was organized ritual, not random black magic.
- Urartu Castle and Ayaz-Kala Fortress: Iron Age fortifications in Turkey and Uzbekistan that show advanced stonework and defensive systems long before the usual timelines credit them.
Ayaz Kala, Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan :
Ayaz Kala complex, built in mud bricks, consists of three fortresses and is located 24km from Buston village near the salty lake Ayaz-kul. In ancient times and early middle ages the complex protected the northern border of lower Khorezm on the right bank of Amu Darya.
Ayaz Kala 1, is the highest of the three in the complex, it was constructed in 4th Century BC, on a flat section of a limestone hill that commanded a view of the surrounding plains. The height of the hill is approximately 100m. The fortress had been used for over five hundred years. The outer contour of the walls is up to 10 meters high and the remains of two-tier arched galleries are preserved till nowadays. The entrance of the fortress was protected by gate fortification building with labyrinth.
Ayaz Kala 2, is the smallest of the three kalas. Since the site has not be systematically excavated or scientifically dated, it is not known when Ayaz Kala 2 was constructed, though it is thought to be the most modern of the three kalas. Estimates of when different parts of the kala were built range from the 4th to 8th centuries CE. The palace-fort complex could have remained in use until the Mongol invasions of the 13th Century CE.
Ayaz Kala 3 (260 x 190m), a garrisoned fort, was the largest of the three kalas. It was surrounded by agricultural fields. Kala 3’s location would have made in far more accessible than kala 1 in an emergency such as a sudden attack. Kala 3 contains a fortified building in its northeast corner that dates to 5th-4th Centuries BC. The outer walls may have been built later – between 1st-2nd Centuries CE.
In 3rd century CE, the walls of the fortress were additionally forced by semicircular towers over the perimeter. The remains of larger fortress Ayaz Kala III (approx. 5 ha) are located at the bottom of the hill. Inside the fortress, traces of monumental cruciform building were found dating to 4th–2nd Centuries BC. All evidence indicates that the double fortress walls with rectangular towers were built around this building in the 1st–2nd Centuries CE.

- Sundaland and alternate flood histories: A sunken landmass in Southeast Asia that some researchers link to a lost advanced culture wiped out by rising seas or comet impact. The idea pushes organized building back thousands of years before Sumer.
- Vilcabamba: The final Inca stronghold hidden in the jungle. Rediscovered in the 1980s, it still raises questions about how a sophisticated empire vanished so completely.
- Bimini Road: An underwater formation of large limestone blocks off the Bahamas that looks like a paved road or wall. Mainstream science calls it natural beach rock. The Atlantis theory refuses to die.
- Sumerian King List: Clay tablets listing pre-flood kings who ruled for tens of thousands of years. After the flood, reigns drop to normal human lengths. The numbers have never been fully explained.
- Noah’s Ark tablet and the Durupınar formation: A 4,000-year-old tablet describes a circular ark. Teams drilling the boat-shaped Durupınar site in eastern Turkey have recovered charred wood fragments now headed for carbon-14 testing in labs in Turkey and France. Whatfinger News covered the earlier core drilling: They Drilled 60 Feet Into Noah’s Ark and Found THIS.
It’s officially official.
This weekend Turkeys lead archeologist Dr. Cenker Atila reviewed and confirmed that Dr Bakhtar’s Report become an official and key development in the study at Noah’s Ark.
Dr. Bakhtar is America’s top rock mechanics expert, a 40 year defense scientist, and inventor of DOD’s Bakhtar Radar, and he just proved that the Durupinar Formation is NOT geological, and that there is a 3 tiered manmade structure beneath the surface with organized hallways, chambers, and corridors.
The hallways run over 4 meters high.
The “It’s just a pile of rocks” theory by armchair archeologists has just been completely destroyed.
Ahhh I’m so excited! It’s all real!!

- Bolivia ruins (Puma Punku / Tiwanaku style): Precision-cut stones with interlocking joints so tight a blade will not fit. Some researchers still date the complex far older than the official timeline.
- Were-monkeys of ancient India and the Djed pillar: Indian epics describe monkey-like warriors fighting demons. Egyptian Djed symbols have been read by some as technological devices rather than pure religious icons.
Related Origins Explained episodes on “impossible” ruins add more:
- Lycian cliff tombs and massive stone sarcophagi in Turkey.
- Serapeum of Saqqara: 60-to-100-ton granite boxes for sacred bulls, most found empty.
- Kailasa Temple in India: an entire temple carved downward from solid basalt, removing roughly 200,000 tons of rock.
- Lalibela’s rock-cut churches in Ethiopia.
- Nan Madol: a Micronesian city of artificial islands built from 50-ton basalt logs with no nearby quarry.
Whatfinger News has been tracking the same ground. Our Mysteries desk keeps an open file on Göbekli Tepe and other anomalies that refuse to stay buried: https://dedicatedissues.com/mysteries/. The full history-mystery archive, including pieces on ancient stone moving, lost worlds, and the Durupınar drilling, sits at https://dedicatedissues.com/category/history-mystery/.
The stones are real. The precision is real. The agreed story of how and when people first built at this scale still has blank pages. That is why these marathons keep finding an audience.
