Watch Tim Dillon’s Hilarious Take on the Kimberly Guilfoyle Drama
Trump Forced Out Kimberly Guilfoyle After the Credit-Card Stories Hit
Kimberly Guilfoyle is no longer America’s ambassador to Greece.
On October 13, the White House asked her to resign. New press secretary Katie Zacharia said it out loud in her first briefing: the president wanted her gone. Guilfoyle had been in Athens for roughly a year.
The job started after she and Donald Trump Jr. ended their engagement. Trump nominated her anyway. The Senate confirmed her in September 2025. She arrived that November as the first woman to hold the post.
🔥🇺🇸 This is the PERFECT TIME to remind everyone that Kimberly Guilfoyle was once married to GAVIN NEWSOM!
Here she is getting groped by him on Ann Getty’s rug!
She’s the one on the right… in case you don’t recognize her now that she has the Mar-a-Lago face.
What a dumpster fire of a marriage that must have been!

Then the Wall Street Journal stories landed. The biggest one said she asked Kentucky donor Eric Deters for $100,000 to pay off her American Express bill right before her confirmation hearing in July 2025. Texts included “Honey please I need you to get this done for me today.” She offered help getting him access inside the administration. Deters said he turned her down.
Other reports said she took private-jet rides from Greek businessmen, pushed a Greek construction company’s interests, and accepted gifts and services that raised ethics questions. Some described a party-heavy style that did not look like standard diplomacy.
Vice President JD Vance DOESN’T HOLD BACK after being PRESSED by CBS News over allegations of CORRUPTION by former U.S. Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle.
“First of all, if somebody’s selling access to the White House, that’s disgusting and despicable and they should suffer consequences.”

Trump saw the coverage and moved. He told reporters she had done a good job but “we didn’t like what we were reading.” He also put distance between them: “She wasn’t a member of my family. She, I guess, dated my son a long time ago.”
Guilfoyle called the claims false. She posted that her time in Greece was the honor of a lifetime and that she would “vigorously defend” her name and reputation.
Comedian Tim Dillon tore into the whole thing on his podcast this week. He said the people who sent her to Greece already knew her style. After the split with Don Jr., they parked her in a place full of rich people. Dillon’s line was that they expected the jets and the side deals. To her, he joked, “justice” means a yacht and a black card. He called her public statement about a life spent fighting for justice “laying it on a little thick.”

The timeline above shows how fast it moved once the stories started.
Deters has now sued Guilfoyle and her lawyers for defamation. He says their denials of the texts were false. He has also threatened to release a phone recording he claims contains more damaging material. The U.S. Embassy site in Athens already removed her biography and listed her successor. Reports say she is heading back to Florida and is finished inside Trump world.

Trump does not like bad press that makes him look careless with appointments. Guilfoyle’s exit was quick once the headlines stuck. She says she will fight the accusations. Deters says he has more to show. The rest is still playing out.
