An IndiGo flight from Delhi to Chennai was diverted to Hyderabad on Sunday, October 11, after a power bank caught fire in an overhead bin. Footage filmed by Balaji Srinivasan shows passengers and crew members rushing to extinguish the flames. IndiGo said smoke was detected coming from a passenger’s electronic device, prompting the pilots to divert the aircraft. The airline confirmed the plane landed safely in Hyderabad and the situation was brought under control.
