WASHINGTON — Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar’s home was raided early Monday morning by the Department of Homeland Security as part of an ongoing criminal fraud investigation into the Somalia-born congresswoman’s immigration paperwork.
“Today in the Washington, D.C. area, Homeland Security Investigations executed a judicially authorized search warrant secured by the Department of Justice,” the DOJ said in a statement.
“This enforcement action is part of an ongoing federal investigation,” the statement concluded.
