ICE may soon equip officers with gloves capable of delivering painful electric shocks to help gain compliance from combative individuals. The devices are known as the G.L.O.V.E., which stands for Generated Low Output Voltage Emitter, and are manufactured by Compliant Technologies LLC. The Department of Homeland Security said ICE plans to spend up to $20 million on thousands of the devices.
