The US Department of Labor is investigating dozens of foreigners who defrauded the H-1B visa program, Vice President JD Vance revealed Wednesday. Vance announced the probes at an event in Milwaukee, saying officials have sent subpoenas to ensure "American jobs … go to American workers and not foreign fraudsters." The H-1B program is used by hundreds of thousands of non-citizens to work in the US, most notably in the tech industry.
