A massive fire ripped through Ecuador’s Pacific port city of Manta on Saturday, destroying at least 35 fishing boats and injuring two people. Dramatic footage showed multiple vessels engulfed in flames as firefighters battled the blaze from the shoreline and in the water. Authorities are investigating the cause, but police believe the fire may have started during welding work on a boat that broke free and spread flames to nearby vessels.
